HOME REMEDIES FOR BAD BREATH

Bad breath is an unpleasant odour of mouth. It is very embarrassing. It may be due to poor dental hygiene, foods etc. The common causes for the bad breath are given below.



CAUSES OF BAD BREATH

  1. Consumption of food like garlic, onions, and spicy foods, curries, cheese, fish.
  2. Excessive consumption of coffee.
  3. Consumption of tobacco products.
  4. Smoking.
  5. Poor dental hygiene.
  6. Dry mouth.
  7. Mouth infection.
  8. Alcohol.
  9. Sinus infection.
  10. Medication.


                     HOME REMEDIES 

  • Take a glass of water and add 1sp of apple cider vinegar in it. Mix it well and gargle with this mixture.


  • Chew parsley after eating food.


  • Chew fenugreek seeds.


  • Chew Cardamom seeds.


  • Take a glass of water and add 2-3 drops of cumin oil in it. Mix well and use it for gargle.


  • Chew fennel seeds after meals.


  • Chew unripe guava or guava leaves.


  • Take 2 cup of water in a pan and add powder of clove in it. Boil it until it remains half. Cool it and gargle with it 4-5 times a day.


  • Chew mint gums.


  • Take some baking soda and add little water in it. Now brush your teeth with it.


USEFUL TIPS
- Avoid smoking.

- Brush your teeth twice a day.

- Wash your mouth after meals.

- Change your brush after 3-4 months.

- Avoid alcohol.

- Gargle with minty mouthwash everyday and avoid alcohol based mouthwashes.

- Drink plenty of water.

- Avoid onion, coffee, garlic etc.

NATURAL AND BEST WAY TO HEAL YOUR DRY AND CRACKED LIPS

Cracked lips are the sign of dryness. It mainly caused in winters. Lips have thin skin and during winters it becomes dry. Due to dryness the skin of lips may also peel off and it starts bleeding, it is very painful. Our lips usually become dry because they don’t have any oil glands present. Dryness may also cause due to exposure of winds, smoking, dehydration etc. It is very necessary to take care of lips and there are several easy ways to get rid of dry, cracked and painful lips without using any expensive products.

                                  HOME REMEDIES

  •  Use coconut oil 4-5 times a day. It helps in maintaining the moisture of the skin and is best for the dry lips.

  • Take warm water in a bowl and dip a cotton ball in it. Now squeeze it and gently put it on your lips. Repeat it 4-5 times and then apply milk cream on your lips.

  • Take an inch of aloe Vera and cut its surface with a knife. Now put its gel in a bowl and apply it on your lips until it dries. Then wash your lips with Luke warm water and apply milk cream on it.

  • Take 4-5 sp of olive oil in a bowl and add ½ sp of honey in it. Mix well and apply it on your lips several times a day.

  • Apply glycerine before going to bed. It helps in making your lips smooth and soft.

  • Take few petals of rose and soak it in milk for few hours. Now grind it into a paste and apply this paste 4-3 times a day.

  • Apply clarified butter 2-3 times a day.

  • Apply castor oil or almond oil on your lips 4-3 times a day.


USEFUL TIPS
1- Drink plenty of water a day.

2- Apply a thick layer of good petroleum jelly or lip balm regularly.

3- Take a healthy diet.

4- Avoid licking your lips.

5- Avoid smoking.

HOME REMEDIES TO LIGHTEN DARK KNEES AND ELBOWS


Dark knees and elbows are very embarrassing. Dirt and absence of oil glands on that area makes it dark brown and dirty.

1) Take a lemon and cut it into two halves. Now rub one piece of lemon on your elbows and knees for 20-25 minutes. It helps in lightning the colour of your knees and elbows.

2) Take 2sp of honey in a bowl and add ½ sp lemon juice in it. Mix well and massage it on your knees and elbows for 15 minutes. After that rinse with water.

3) Take 2sp of lemon juice in a bowl and add 1sp of salt in it. Now rub this mixture on your knees and elbows for 15minutes. Then wash with water.

4) Take 1sp of milk cream in a bowl. Now add a pinch of turmeric powder and 3-4 drops of basil leaves extract. Mix it well to make a paste of it and apply it on your knees and elbows. Leave it overnight and wash it next morning. 

5) Take a potato and grate it in a bowl. Now take out its juice in another bowl, dip a cotton ball in it and apply it on knees and elbows.

6) Take 2-3sp of olive oil in a bowl and add brown sugar in it. Now scrub your knees and elbows with this mixture.

7) Take 1sp of coconut oil in a bowl. Now add ½ sp lemon juice in it. Apply this mixture on knees and elbows, and rub it with cotton. Then wash it off. 

8) Take 2sp of almond powder in a bowl and add 2sp of yogurt in it. Mix well and rub this mixture on your knees and elbows and leave it for few minutes. After that rinse with water.

9) Take 2sp of gram flour in a bowl and add 1sp of curd in it. Mix it well and apply it on knees and elbows. Rub it for a minute and leave it until it dries. Then rinse with water.

10) Take 2sp of walnut powder and add 1sp of honey in it. Mix well and apply it on your knees and elbows.  Leave it for 10-15 minutes and massage it in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes. Then rinse with water.

USEFUL TIPS

  • Scrub your knees and elbows daily with a good scrubber while shower.
  • Massage knees and elbows regularly with milk cream or olive oil at night.

GET BEAUTIFUL LIPS NATURALLY

Lips are one of the beautiful parts of our body. Beautiful pink lips make us look more beautiful. Every woman wants to have soft and pink lips naturally. The hectic work schedule, smoking, drinking and other unhealthy things ruin all the beauty of our lips and make it looking dark brown instead of pink. Now we are giving you some home remedies to make your lips pink naturally.


  • Take 2-3 petals of rose, crush it and rub it on your lips 2-3 times a day. It makes your lips pink naturally.

  • Apply milk cream every night before going to bed. It makes your lips soft and moisturized.

  • Apply tomato paste on your lips to make it soft.

  • Take a few seeds of pomegranate and crush it. Now blend it with milk cream and apply it on your lips.

  • Take a pinch of Powder sugar and add a little butter in it. Mix well to make a paste of it and scrub this mixture on your lips for few minutes.

  • Massage your lips with olive oil for few minutes to get soft and pink lips.

  • Take a 2 sp of carrot juice in a bowl and add saffron in it. Mix well and soak cotton in it. Now apply this mixture with cotton on your lips.

  • Take 1tbsp milk and add few red rose petals in it. Crush the petals in the milk till the colour of the milk gat changed. Now remove the petals from milk and store it in the fridge. When it cools down add 1tsp of almond powder in it and mix it well to make a thick paste of it. Now apply it on your lips and leave it for 20 minutes. After that remove it with wet cotton. 

  • Take ½ sp of honey in a bowl and add 2-3 drops of lemon juice in it. Mix it well and apply it on your lips. Leave it for few minutes and remove it with wet cotton.

  • Massage your lips with almond oil.

  • Take 1sp of milk in a bowl and add a pinch of pure turmeric in it. Mix well and apply it on your lips.

  • Take 2sp of milk in a bowl and crush few petals of rose in it. Now remove the petals and add saffron in it. Mix well and apply it on your lips.

  • Take 2sp of cucumber juice in a bowl and add 2-3 drops of lemon in it. Mix well and apply it on your lips.

  • Take 1sp of coriander juice in a bowl. Add carrot juice and mint juice in it. Mix well and apply it on your lips.
  • Make a powder of orange peel after drying it. Now take 1sp of orange peel powder in a bowl and add little coconut milk in it. Mix well and apply it on your lips for few minutes. After that remove it with wet cotton.

  • Massage your lips with glycerine.

                           IMPORTANT TIPS

  1. Drink lots of water and fresh fruit juice.
  2. Avoid licking your lips.
  3. Avoid smoking.
  4. Avoid drinking alcohol.
  5. Avoid too much consumption of tea and coffee.
  6. Moisturize your lips with a lip balm 4-5 times a day.
  7. Massage daily with vitamin E oil at night for few minutes.

WAYS TO GET SOFT HANDS NATURALLY


Hands are one of the most visible parts of our body and it is very important to take care of the hands. Almost every work is done by the hands and like other parts our hands also need special attention to make it soft and healthy. Every woman wants to make their hands soft and smooth but due to busy schedule it’s not possible for everyone to go to parlour and get expensive treatments. Now there are some tips by which one can easily get smooth and soft hands without going parlour and by using the items that are easily available at home. 

                   Home Remedies

  • Take some water in a bowl and mix 1tbsp of white vinegar in it. Dip your hands in it for 1-2minutes and pat them with a dry towel. After this apply a moisturizer. It helps in making hands soft.
  • Take 2cups of milk in a pan and heat it. Now pour it in a bowl and add 2-3 pcs of saffron (kesar) in it. Mix well and soak your hands in lukewarm milk for 10-15 minutes. After that rinse your hands well.
  • Cut lemon into half and squeeze it in a bowl. Now add ½ tsp of sugar in it. Rub this mixture on your hands for few minutes. It makes your hands soft and smooth.
  • Mix ½ sp coconut oil with ½ sp almond oil and heat it little. Now massage your hands with this every night.
  • Take ½ cup of glycerine in a bowl and squeeze 1 lemon in it. Pour this mixture in a bottle and shake well. Now use this mixture every night to massage your hand. It makes your hands soft, smooth and beautiful.
  • Take 1sp gram flour (besan) in a bowl and add 1sp coconut oil in it. Mix well to make a paste of it. Rub this paste on your hands for 5-10 minutes. Rinse it well.
  • Take a half bowl of warm water. Now add 1sp lemon juice and 1sp of rose water in it. Soak your hands in it for 10-15 minutes. After this pat them with dry towel and massage your hands with glycerine for 2-3 minutes.
  • Wash your hands with warm water and after that massage your hands with olive oil at bed time.
  • Take a bowl of warm water and put liquid soap or shampoo in it. Now add ½ sp hydrogen peroxide in it. Make lather of it and soak your hands in it for 10-15 minutes. After that apply baby lotion or milk cream (malai) and massage for 2 minutes.
  • Take 1 boiled potato and mash them in a bowl. Add 1sp of almond oil and 2sp of glycerine in it. Apply this mixture on your hands and leave it for 1 hour. After that wash your hands with lukewarm water.


                   USEFUL TIPS

  1. Always use good quality lotion. You can also use baby lotion or cream.
  2. Wear plastic gloves while doing kitchen work.
  3. Apply milk cream at night.
  4. Scrub your hands with natural scrubber once in a week.

HOME REMEDIES TO TREAT TONSILLITIS


Tonsillitis is caused by viruses or bacteria. It is the infection that causes inflammation. They are more common among children. We have two masses of tissue called tonsils at the back of throat that helps to fight the infection but sometimes they become infected and swell  and cause the problem of tonsillitis. 


SYMPTOMS OF TONSILLITIS
  • Swelling in throat
  • Pain in swallowing
  • Headache
  • Fever
  • Redness in throat
  • Sneezing
  • Cough
  • Pan in neck

       HOME REMEDIES FOR TONSILLITIS
  • Take a glass of lukewarm milk and add ½ sp turmeric powder in it. Mix well and drink it just before bedtime.

  • Take a glass of water in a pan and add some mint leaves in it. Now boil it together for a minute and add pure salt in it. Mix well. Strain it, cool and use this mixture to gargle. Repeat it several times a day. 

  • Take a glass of water and add 1 lemon in it. Now add 4sp of honey and 1sp of salt in it. Mix it ad drink it slowly.

  • Take a glass of warm water and add 1sp of honey and 1sp of ginger juice in it. Mix well and gargle with this mixture.

  • Take a glass of warm water and add 1sp of salt in it. Mix it and gargle with it 3-4 times a day.

  • Take 2 glass of water in a pan and put some fenugreek seeds (methi) in it. Boil it together. Strain the water, cool it and use it to gargle. 

  • Make a cup of tea by adding crushed ginger, basil leaves, cloves, and a pinch of black pepper. Strain it and drink it.

  • Make a juice of 2 carrots, 1 beet root and 1 cucumber. Drink it once a day.

                    USEFUL TIPS
1) Avoid spicy, sugary, sour, processed and fatty food.

2) Avoid smoking.

3) Drink plenty of water.

4) Gargle with warm water by adding salt 2-4 times a day.

HOME REMEDIES FOR BROWN PATCHES OR SPOTS ON SKIN


Brown patches on skin are very common problem. It is a sign of unhealthy skin and it makes one look very odd. It not only look bad but it also makes one embarrass and stressed. It’s more among women and it’s due to some weakness in body.

HOME REMEDIES FOR BROWN PATCHES ON SKIN

1) Take 1sp of masoor dal powder, 1-2 sp milk in a bowl. Now add a pinch of turmeric and 2drops of coconut oil. Mix it well to make a paste of it. Apply it on your face and leave it for 5 minutes. Then wash off with water by gently scrubbing.


 2) Take 1/2sp honey and 1sp lemon juice in a bowl. Mix it well and apply it on your face. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wash your face. It helps in removing dark patches from the skin.


3) Take 2 strands of kesar and soak it in 1 tbsp milk. Now apply the milk as face pack. Leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse off with water.


 4) Take 2-3 drops of castor oil and apply it on spots. Massage the oil in your skin in a circular motion. Apply it twice a day.


5) Take 1sp of lemon juice and apply it on the dark patches. Now leave it for half an hour and then rinse off.


6) Apply aloevera gel on your skin and rub it slightly. Now leave it for 45-50 minutes and then rinse off with water.


7) Take 1 raw potato and grate it in a bowl. Now take out its juice in a bowl by squeezing it. Add 2-3 drops of lemon juice in it and apply it on your face. Leave it until it dries and then rinse off.


8) Take 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and mix it with 1 tbsp of onion juice. Apply this on dark spots and leave it for half an hour. Then rinse with water.


9) Take 2sp lemon juice in a bowl and mix little sugar in it. Mix it well and then apply it with cotton ball on your dark spots. Leave it for 30 minutes and then rinse with water.


10) Take 2sp of tomato juice and mix 2-3 drops of lemon juice in it. Now apply it on your face. Leave it until it dries and then rinse off.


                  USEFUL TIPS
  • Use good sun screen lotion.
  • Wear hats to avoid sun exposure.
  • Eat healthy food.
  • Drink lots of water.
  • Think positively and exercise daily.
