How to control DIABETES

 DIABETES                      


Diabetes  , describes a group of metabolic disease in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar) either because insulin production is inadequate , or because the body's cell  do not respond properly to insulin ,or both. Patients with high blood sugar will typically experience Polyuria (frequent urination) , they will become increasingly thirsty (Polydipsia) and hunger ( opyghafia).



                Food You Should Eat to Manage Diabetes 

1) Oat Meal- Studies have shown that eating a diet rich in whole grains and high fiber food may reduce the risk of diabetes  between 35%- 42%. An excellent source of whole grain and high fiber food is oat meal. Oat meal is a rich source of soluble fiber  which slow the absorption of Glucose from food in stomach and help in keeping the blood sugar level under control.




2)- Fat - Free yogurt- Yogurt contain high quality carbohydrates and proteins . It helps in slowing and preventing unhealthy rise in blood sugar .Yogurt also contains calcium in it and calcium helps in reducing the risk of Diabetes.





3)- Bitter GOUD (KARELA)- It contains high amount of plant insulin . It lower the blood sugar level effectively . You should also drink its juice  early morning to control your blood sugar level.




4)- Almonds (Unsalted only)- Almonds are rich in magnesium and magnesium helps in reducing the risk of developing diabetes by 33%. You should eat other high magnesium food like Pumpkin seeds , Spinach and Swiss chard .




5)- Egg white-  Egg white is rich in high quality lean protein  and low in Carbs . It helps in blood sugar control and also on weight loss .



6)- Fruits- You can eat citrus fruits like Kiwi, Orange, Indian Goose Berry (Amla) . In non-citrus you can eat food like  Apple, Peach, Apricot, Papaya and Guava. You can also eat Blue berries , Cranberry and Indian Black berries. All these fruits help in controlling the sugar level and will gives you all the essential Fiber , Vitamins, Minerals.






                      Food You Must Avoid

1) Salt

2) Sugar

3) Fat

4) Whole Milk and products . (You drink low fat milk and its products).

5) Tea and coffee (Drink Herbal Tea)

6) White flour and its product

7) High glycemic food ( Do not eat Potato, Carrot and Banana)

8) Cola drinks


9) Alcohol




                       Home Remedies



1) Powder the seeds of Karela(Bitter Goud) measuring 1 teaspoon and mix it in one glass of water and drink it.


2) Soak the seeds of Methi (Fenugreek) overnight and then next morning drink the water in which the seeds were soaked .


3) Take some seeds of Jamun (Indian Blackberry) and dry them . Now crush these dried seeds and make powder from them . Eat this powder or mix it with water and drink it. 


4) Take a small bowl of Wheat Husk  and soak it in one glass of water overnight  and  next morning purify that water and drink it .



5) Take Aloevera leaf and cleat that leaf and cut it from the  sides and eat the remaining part . Try to eat Aloevera atleast for 3-4 times in a weak.


                                          TIPS


  •  Do exercise and go for morning walk daily .



  •  Drink amla (Indian Gooseberry) and aloevera juice every day.



  • Take your meal at proper time and do not skip your meal.


  • Do not eat Junk food at all. 



  •  Check your Blood sugar lever on proper time .



  •  If you feel weakness or any other health problem please consult the doctor immediately.



  •  Do not take stress and be happy always .




  •  If you are on insulin , then take your insulin on proper time.
